Advanced Tranmission Electron Microscopy

The Chair of Advanced Transmission Electron Microscopy (ATEM) focuses on the development and application of modern methodologies using electron beams to study novel energy materials down to the atomic level. We want to establish a holistic understanding of the atomistic building blocks of solid-state materials and how they behave under operating conditions to advance their functionality.

We are located at the Center for Interface-Dominated High-Performance Materials (ZGH), where we expand its atomic resolution characterization capabilities (ZGH facilities).
